This program is designed to strengthen Qur’an reading skills by focusing on accuracy, fluency, and application of tajweed rules. It is divided into three levels—Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced—each carefully structured to help students progress toward confident, independent reading. By the end of the Advanced level, students should be able to open any page of the mus-haf and read it fluently and accurately.

  • Beginning Level:
This level is ideal for students who have just completed the Bridge-to-Reading program or the Qa’idah Nuraniyah and are transitioning into mus-haf reading. Students at this stage often require frequent reminders to apply the reading rules they’ve learned. They read at a slower pace as they work to build fluency, accuracy, and confidence.
  • Intermediate Level:
Students at the intermediate stage have gained confidence and can read more independently, with minimal teacher assistance. The focus shifts toward improving reading speed and fluency while beginning to recognize and apply basic tajweed rules—even if they don’t yet know the formal names for those rules.
  • Advanced Level:
At this level, students are fluent and accurate readers who apply fundamental tajweed rules consistently. Under the teacher’s guidance, they complete a full reading (khatmah) of the Qur’an over the course of the academic year. The primary goal is to develop familiarity with the entire Qur’an and prepare students for the next step: memorization.
